Dingwell, William Melvin - Age 76, of Flint Township, passed away October 24, 2022. Services will be held at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly, Michigan at a later date. Arrangements are being handled by Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel. 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. William was born June 22, 1946 in Port Huron, Michigan, the son of Cecil and Dorothy (Riehl) Dingwell. William graduated from Port Huron High School and then went on to serve in the United States Army. He resided in Flint most of his life. He worked for General Motors in Machine Repair for 35 years, until retiring in 1999. He married Carolyn Foley in 1969; she preceded him in death in 2004. Surviving are: children, Walter (Debbie) Ryan of Montrose, Vickie Ryan of Flint, Bradley (Leslie)  Dingwell of Columbia, MO., Alfred (Lisa) Dingwell of Flushing, Velora Reed-Scarberry of Flint Township; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, that he loved very much; along with many friends.
