The remains of HM3 Kurt C. Edie, USN, 22, of 3746 Parker Rd, who was killed in action Wednesday in Vietnam, will be brought to Pollock-Jowett Funeral Home.  Funeral arrangements will be announced pending arrival of the remains.  Hospitalman Edie was born Oct. 24, 1944, in Port Huron and was a lifelong resident.  He enlisted in the Navy in April, 1965 and was serving as a medical corpsman with the Third Marine Regiment, Ninth Brigade.  He was a graduate of Port Huron High School; and was a member of the football team.  He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lee W. Edie; a brother, Dennis Edie, Detroit; three sisters, Mrs. J. Steven Ellingboe and Miss Marsha Edie, both of Palo Alto, CA; and Mrs. Louis W. Sattler, Port Huron; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
