Alvin L. Brennan, 56, died Tuesday, May 14, 2002, in Port Huron Hospital after a short struggle with cancer.  He was born Sept. 3, 1945, in Croswell and was a lifelong resident.  Mr. Brennan married Angela M. Bushey.  Al was a member of St. Edward's on the Lake Catholic church, Lakeport.  He had been employed at Wirtz Manufacturing since 1971.  He was a member of the 4-Square Sportsman's Club and and enjoyed skeet shooting.  He also loved his family and a good joke.

He is survived by his wife, Angela M. Brennan of Lakeport; daughters, Amy (Robert) Davis of Port Huron and Josie Brennan of Lakeport; granddaughter Mia Brennan of Port Huron; sisters, Maratha (Robert) Smith of Kimball Township and Ila (David) Best of Port Huron; three brothers Tom (Joyce) Brennan of Davison, Lee (Betty) Brennan of Detroit and Bob (Mary Lou) of Florida; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Raymond, Stanley and Harry Brennan.

Funeral services will be 11 am Thursday in St. Edwards on the Lake Catholic Church.  The Rev. Joseph M Esper, pastor, will officiate.  Burial in Burtchville Township Cemetery.
