Ethel Pincomb (Boman)

Ethel Mae "Dixie" Boman Fort Gratiot Ethel Mae "Dixie" Boman, 69, died Sunday, March 10, 2013 in her sister's home, surrounded by her family, following a long illness. She was born November 22, 1943 in Port Huron, to the late James and Lucille Pincombe. She married George F. Boman on March 7, 1968. Ethel worked as a car hop at both the north and south end Powers Hamburgers and was a member of the Wadhams Grove Community of Christ Church. She enjoyed reading and was a loving grandmother.. She is survived by her husband, George F. Boman; a daughter, Susan (Joe) DeMartino; a son, George Boman Jr.; grandchildren, Jessica, Steven, and Cody; sisters, Marlene Castlemann of Lincoln, MI. Nancy Pincombe of Port Huron; a brother, Richard Pincombe of Lincoln Park, a sister, Judy (Bill) Ingles of Kimball; a sister-in-law, Mary Pincombe; a brother-in-law, Dennis Cooper; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Lucille Pincombe; two brothers, Jim and Bill Pincombe; five sisters, Betty and Beverly Pincombe, Sally Graham, Pearl Cooper and Mary Groh. Visitation will be from 2-9 p.m. Wednesday March 13, 2013 in in Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Wishes of the Family.
