Edward Currie

Edward R. Currie III, Pinconning, MI, 58 passed through the veil on Saturday, July 9, 2005 at his home.  He was born in Port Huron on September 28, 1946 to Edward and Mary (Johnson) Currie.

He was a veteran of the US Navy serving in Viet Nam and a member of the VFW.  He was a professional clown also known as “Cornee the Clown” and was a member of the International Brotherhood of Magicians.

He is survived by his wife, the former Fideles Belchak, whom he married on November 6, 1990 in Chicago; daughter Ann and Thomas Currie-Vacario; mother; Mary D. Currie; sister, Mary Ann (Ronald) Kaczmarczyk; step-son, Troy (Joy) Haut; step-daughter Nicole Haut; two granddaughters; his previous wives, Marie Umphrey and Connie Kenney; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his son, Anthony Currie; his father Edward; and sister Kathleen.

Funeral services will be held today at 11 am, Tuesday, from Lee-Ramsay Funeral Home with internment in Clyde Twp. Cemetery, Port Huron. Friends may call at the funeral home today from 10 am until the time of service.
